The Salty Dog Hotel
The Salty Dog Hotel is a lively beachfront pub and restaurant in Kingston Beach. Southern Plumbing is proudly completing comprehensive plumbing upgrades as part of the venue’s recent renovation, working in collaboration with Soda Projects.
Works Completed
Water Reticulation and Hot Water Services
Installation of hot and cold water supply, a new hot water unit, and a thermostatic mixing valve (TMV) to ensure safe and consistent water delivery.
Trade Waste Upgrade
Installation of new drainage lines, floor wastes, and a 1500L grease trap to meet commercial kitchen requirements. Basket arrestors and secondary strainers were provided to all sinks, ensuring compliance with TasWater standards.
Stormwater Upgrade
Upgrade of existing stormwater infrastructure, including new SN6 PVC stormwater lines, pit enlargements to 600mm square, and new box and eaves gutters with overflow provisions.
Sewer Upgrade
Supply and installation of new SN6 PVC sewer lines, including inspection openings, overflow relief gullies, and floor wastes. New sewer lines were connected to the existing sewer system.
Plumbing Fixtures
Supply, fit-off and commissioning of kitchen fixtures and appliances.
