The Salty Dog Hotel
The Salty Dog Hotel is a lively beachfront pub and restaurant in Kingston Beach. Southern Plumbing is proudly completing comprehensive plumbing upgrades as part of the venue’s recent renovation, working in collaboration with Soda Projects.
Works Completed
Water Reticulation and Hot Water Services
Provision of new hot, cold and tempered water reticulation using PE-X pipework with thermostatic mixing valves and balancing valves. Installation of electric storage hot water units, wash-down hose connection and appliance water points, all connected to the existing water supply.
Trade Waste Upgrade
Installation of new drainage lines, serving kitchen fixtures and appliances, including dishwasher, cleaners sink and tundishes. Non-bypassable basket arrestors were installed to all sinks and floor wastes, with upstream venting.
Stormwater Upgrade
Upgrade of existing stormwater infrastructure, including new stormwater lines, pit enlargements to 600mm, and new roof gutters, box gutters, overflows and graded pipework.
Sewer Upgrade
Supply and installation of new sewer pipework, connecting to existing sewer infrastructure. New connections were provided for toilets, basins, urinals and minor fixtures, including floor waste gullies, inspection openings and compliant venting.
Plumbing Fixtures
Supply, fit-off and commissioning of bathroom and kitchen fixtures.
