Botanical Kitchen
Botanical Kitchen is a purpose-built space in Bridgewater designed to support the 24 Carrot Gardens food education program. Southern Plumbing was engaged to deliver the full hydraulic scope, providing complete and compliant plumbing tailored to the needs of a commercial teaching kitchen.
Works Completed
Water Reticulation and Hot Water Services
Installation of hot and cold water supply, and a new hot water unit to ensure safe and consistent hot water delivery.
Trade Waste
Installation of new drainage lines, floor wastes, and a 1500L grease trap to meet commercial kitchen requirements. Basket arrestors and secondary strainers were provided to all sinks, ensuring compliance with TasWater standards.
Stormwater Systems
Construction of new stormwater connections, alterations to existing site services, and integration of roof water into the site system.
Rain Water Harvesting
Supply and installation of two 22,000L custom water tanks, including tank bases, downpipe connections, overflow to existing stormwater pits, and a pressure pump system for future irrigation.
Plumbing Fixtures
Fit-off and commissioning of kitchen fixtures and appliances.
