24 Carrot Gardens
Southern Plumbing is proud to support the 24 Carrot Gardens program, which establishes productive gardens in schools and community spaces across Tasmania, including Brighton, Glenorchy, Claremont, and Rokeby.
Works Completed
Brighton Primary School – Stormwater & Subsoil Drainage Upgrade
Supply and installation of new stormwater pits and risers, installation of 100mm subsoil drainage on grade, connection of subsoil drains to new pits, and associated garden stormwater upgrades to improve site drainage performance.
Glenorchy Primary School – Stormwater Drainage Upgrade
Installation of new stormwater pits, 150mm PVC drainage and fittings, connection to existing downpipes, and associated garden drainage upgrades to improve surface water management.
Windermere Primary School – Subsoil Drainage & Services Works
Installation of a new pit for future subsoil drainage, repair of the 40mm poly line using poly fusion, and connection of a 90mm line from the downpipe to the existing pit to improve stormwater flow.
